My name is Sara Reeves, and my career began in Dental Nursing and Dental Radiography, a role I was proud to hold for over 12 years. As my family grew, I found the balance between daytime work and childcare increasingly difficult. This led me to make the decision to step away and join Helping Hands, where I discovered a true calling in supporting people within the community.
After the challenges of the Covid lockdown, I focused on my children while considering a return to dental nursing. However, in May 2021, an opportunity arose to support someone within their own home. From that moment, my passion for personalised care became clear, and My OCD – Occupational Care and Cleaning Duties – was born.
